East Surrey College has opted into the TEF and received a Bronze award.
This Foundation Degree is designed specifically for those who want to develop and progress in management. The qualification provides an exciting opportunity for you to study the elements of management whilst working either in a management role or preparing for a similar role in the near future. The distinctive feature of the Foundation Degree in Management (FDM) is its emphasis on the workplace as a learning and development environment. A proportion of the assessments and course content relates directly to the student's workplace and role as a manager in it, and this provides a powerful and unique way to study management. There are case examples from students and their organisations, to create a greater understanding of management, personal capability and in turn the overall performance of organisations. As well as improving employability, FDM is a perfect stepping stone to further development. This also provides a platform to progressing on to a BA Hons in Business Studies.
