Course summary
This programme has been developed to address the current skills shortages within Building Services Engineering, more specifically Electrical Installation. The Building Services Engineering (Electrical) programme is ideal for students wishing to become a building services engineer in electrical installation. This programme will provide you with the fundamental knowledge required for further progression within the building services engineering industry and open the doorway to a new career. It will also provide you with a recognised qualification that will act as a springboard towards achieving a full degree. The programme will be taught using a combination of lectures, guest speakers and tutorials.
Modules
The programme encompasses a wide range of subject areas and is made up of a combination of mandatory and optional units, including Construction Design Project Construction Environment Digital Applications for Construction Information Mathematics for Construction Principles of Electrical Design and Installation Scientific Principles for Building Services Science & Materials Construction Technology
Assessment method
The programme will be assessed using a combination of written assignments, practical assessment and examinations.
