The level of practice needed to inform and contribute meaningfully to this global movement is being realised. As a result, advanced practice masters level qualifications for registered health and social care practitioners are in demand. We recognise the importance of service user and carer perspectives when it comes to defining a flexible approach to practice experience and in advancing core and area specific levels of clinical competence. Assessment method
This is a modular programme, each module being individually assessed; a variety of assessment strategies are used within modules, including: reports; projects; literature reviews and essays; a supervised research dissertation is submitted as the final assessment.
Entry requirements
You must be an experienced (normally two to three years post registration), registered health or social care practitioner with minimum academic requirement; UK 2:2 honours degree or equivalent. If you can demonstrate experience or accredited learning you will also be considered by submitting a Recognition of Prior Learning Application. Academic IELTS score of 6.5 (or equivalent) with no element below 6.0. Reading and listening must be 6.5.
