TEF Silver
Oxford Brookes University has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.
Drawing on the school’s strong worldwide contacts, we will develop your understanding of successful management and leadership practice in the international hospitality sector. You can gain industry experience during a paid work placement year and, in addition, there are regular opportunities throughout the course to interact with senior hospitality figures at events both on and off campus.

Modules
You will develop the knowledge, skills and attributes needed to be an effective and ethical manager or leader in international hospitality. Our close links with major companies ensure that your learning is up-to-date and relevant to the needs of the industry. This is why our talented, creative and intellectually able graduates go on to secure jobs with the top hospitality employers around the world. On this course you will focus on core management disciplines including human resources, finance, marketing and operations and you are encouraged to specialise in areas which reflect your career plans. There are optional foreign language modules available if you wish to develop your language skills. In Year 2 of the course you can gain invaluable work experience on an optional one-year paid work placement. We provide work placement opportunities with some of the most prestigious employers worldwide, including Marriott, Four Seasons, Hilton, Dorchester Collection, D&D London and Soho House.
