Course summary
The Level 4 HNC in Construction and The Built Environment offers students 6 ‘specialist pathways’ designed to support progression into relevant occupational areas or on to degree-level study. These pathways are linked to Professional Body standards and vendor accredited certification (where appropriate) and can provide professional status and progression to direct employment. Units include Group Project, Project Management, Contracts and Management, Management for Complex Buildings, Alternative Methods of Construction, Environmental Assessment & Monitoring, Personal Professional Development. This course is ideal to study whilst undertaking employment in a related field. Students take part from a variety of construction related careers including construction, project management, and civil engineering. Attendance is one day a week over two years to get the HNC qualification Who should take this course? You can study this course alongside your current employment through our part-time day release option, enabling you to put your newly developed skills into practice straight away. We offer small class sizes which means you will get more one to one support with your tutor All your tutors have many years experience in the construction and the built environment industry.
