Fashion Business and Promotion is for those students that want to work in the fashion industry, but not making or designing clothes. Our modules enable you to graduate from this course with a diverse understanding of the fashion industry. By the end of the second year, you will have covered a range of subjects including buying and merchandising, in store experience planning, implementing a marketing and PR campaign, and running a live event, ready to focus on your strengths and career aspirations in your final year. You will develop an understanding of the global marketplace and consumer and how the industries focus on circular economy and sustainability. In Year 2, you will have the opportunity to undertake a work placement or a collaborative project with other students from the School of Fashion and Textiles. Throughout your time with us you will explore new creative skills in packages such as Adobe Creative Cloud. You will develop business and research skills, applying theories and techniques as well as enhancing your presentation skills on industry-led briefs which have been supported in recent years by Gymshark, Selfridges, Superdry and Next. You will be inspired by our recent alumni guests and supported by our dedicated academic team that have an extensive range of industry experience as buyers, designers, artists and marketeers.
