About this course Gain the knowledge, skills and confidence you need to succeed in the career you choose. This degree covers business operations, logistics, marketing, finance, people management and ethical business practices. It includes an optional paid one-year work placement. You will graduate as a confident, independent thinker, with the detailed knowledge and skills you need to adapt rapidly to change. Skills You will explore how businesses can operate effectively in a multicultural environment, while learning to identify and solve business problems yourself, and communicate your ideas with impact. You will gain the key attributes employers value, such as commercial acumen, self-reflection and emotional intelligence, together with skills in research, numeracy, project management and leadership. Career opportunities This course also has the option of a one-year paid work placement, to boost your employability even further. And throughout the degree you will have access to employability events, guest speakers from the business world, and access to mentoring and careers support. The skills and knowledge you graduate with on this degree will put you in a strong position for pursuing jobs in business, including accounting and finance international business, retail, marketing and human resources. Teaching designed around you At Roehampton, we want to provide you with the flexibility you need while you study, and the contact time to help you succeed. We schedule our teaching across no more than three days each week. Plus, we'll confirm which days these are well in advance of the start of term, so you can plan ahead. So, if you want to have more focused personal study time, a part-time job, need to balance family commitments, or want to reduce the time you spend commuting, we’re the ideal choice for you.
