Course summary
The BTEC HND Construction and the Built Environment course is intended as a vocational qualification within the construction industry. It is also ideal for those who are already working in, or training for a technician role in the construction industry and are looking to enhance their qualifications to progress in their career. The aim of this course is to develop students with a technical understanding of the Construction and the Built Environment industry including the application of proven techniques and theories for the solution of real life problems. Assessment method
The units are integrated into a programme of continuous assessment through assignments and timed tests. There are several components to the assessment, both theoretical and practical.

Applicants would normally be expected to have a Level 3 qualification which could include BTEC Extended Diploma or City & Guilds Advanced Technical Extended Diploma in a related subject, T Level in Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction Entry requirements are for guidance only.
