On nominated modules you will work closely with students studying the same award at La Trobe University, Australia. In your final year you will work as a team to resolve real life business issues and engage in hotel simulations. Work placements In your second year you will undertake a year-long study abroad with our partner in Melbourne. Qualification requirements

Please be aware that the University operates a ‘gathered field’ approach for admission to this course. A gathered field approach involves grouping applications together and is used where the candidate quality and level of interest in the course exceeds the number of places available. The number of places available will be agreed in partnership with La Trobe University each admissions cycle. Some applicants will be offered a place, some will be unsuccessful. Where possible, unsuccessful applicants will be considered for an alternative course subject to course entry requirements.

International/EU students must also apply for a separate visa for their year of study in Australia at La Trobe University at an extra cost to themselves. If for any reason a visa cannot be obtained students would be able to complete their studies in the UK at Sheffield Hallam University through a transfer to the BSc International Tourism and Hospitality Business Management course.
