Course summary

This Foundation Year aims to provide understanding of the key subjects in exercise, nutrition and health to meet the prerequisites for study on the associated degree programme. The key areas of study will be effective communication and study skills combined with an introduction to the basic theories and concepts within the discipline, preparing you for successful study at Level 4. Modules may include: Fitness Testing and Exercise Prescription Allied Health Professions Foundation of Physical Health Introduction to Applied Sciences Numeracy Study Skills
