Our Psychology and Education BPS accredited degree will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the mind and behaviour to examine how young children and adolescents learn and develop within an educational setting. You will explore a range of topics that focus on how psychology impacts everyday life including biological bases of behaviour, cognition, individual differences, human social interaction and lifespan development. To bring your learning to life, you will design and conduct your own psychological studies in our state-of-the art laboratories, for example conducting experiments or designing surveys. Education modules have a strong focus on contemporary issues in education and policy making. You will consider topics including education's relationship to the economy, the nature of learning, childhood and educational inclusion, as well as the history of education.
