Biomedical engineering is an exciting, cutting-edge and fast-emerging sector in the United Kingdom and overseas. It applies engineering solutions to meet the challenging demands of the healthcare sector, and plays a significant role in improving the quality of patient care. Our Biomedical Engineering course pulls in many different subjects, from mechanical to electrical and electronic engineering, while embedding the principles of human anatomy and physiology.
