Course summary
Become a teacher with this primary education degree and receive teacher training rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in its 2016 report. You will also benefit from our excellent links with schools. Our Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status degree will give you the knowledge and skills to inspire young learners. You will receive teacher training through on-the-job placements and sessions at the university with our tutors. The course includes around eight weeks each year observing and working alongside experienced primary teachers in a school. This means that by the time you achieve Qualified Teacher Status at the end of your final year, you will have the skills and confidence to start your career as a primary education teacher.
