The BSc (Hons) Sport Rehabilitation is a vocational, hands on course that offers students the opportunity to develop knowledge, skills and expertise in preventing, assessing, diagnosing, and treating sports and physical activity-related injuries. Graduate Sport Rehabilitators are trained in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries expertise that is essential across all sports, and all levels from amateur to elite. Career prospects Upon completion of this course you will be eligible to become a registered member of BASRaT (British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers). Sports rehabilitators work in areas such as professional sport, primary musculoskeletal care, military and corporate environments. Successful completion of the undergraduate programme opens up the world of further postgraduate study such as Strength and Conditioning, Sport Sciences or research in the form of MRes/PhD study. Additional Course Costs
Students may wish to purchase their own copies of some recommended textbooks. Books are estimated to cost between £50 and £200. Students may also wish to purchase AECC University College-branded items of clothing. This clothing will cost approximately £50 to £75.
BASRaT accreditation currently required students to undertake a Royal College of Surgeons Pre-Hospital Immediate Care endorsed course this will cost approx. £350-500 per student.
