BSc Computing (Computer Networks & Cyber Security) with Foundation Year In today’s interconnected world, Cybercrime affects every user. To understand Cyber Security fully, one should have strong Networking skills. The networks enable us to live, work, communicate and move freely without boundaries. This programme was developed to teach you the essential skills required to start a career in networking or cybersecurity. Foundation Year entry allows students to gain in confidence before studying at a higher level. UWTSD has been a Cisco Academy since 1999 and EC Council Academy partner since 2018. We are the only university to offer this unique programme that covers the curriculum of CCNA Routing & Switching, CCNA Cyber Operations and EC Council’s Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator certification (CHFI) within the degree programme. Assessment method
Students are assessed through a combination of laboratory-based practicals, assignments, presentations, projects and examinations. Module assessment is often by assignment, or assignment and examination. The final mark for some modules may include one or more pieces of coursework set and completed during the module. Project work is assessed by a written report and presentation.
