Course description This course equips you with the technical expertise and management skills to tackle energy challenges and drive innovation in industrial contexts. You'll gain a deep understanding of conventional and renewable energy systems, fuels and low-carbon technologies, alongside practical experience through applied experiments and energy audits. The course integrates industrial management and innovation principles, preparing you to lead projects, manage change and deliver sustainable solutions in energy engineering. You will learn to combine technical knowledge with strategic thinking through modules in innovation management, strategic engineering management and real-world commercial problem-solving. Hands-on learning is central to the course. Laboratory sessions, workshops and applied engineering projects develop practical skills in energy system design, analysis and performance evaluation. English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 (with 6 in each component) or University equivalent.

Entry requirements

Minimum 2:2 undergraduate honours degree in a relevant subject. Subject requirements We accept degrees in the following subject areas: Any Engineering, Science or Technology discipline. We also consider a wide range of international qualifications. We assess each application on the basis of the applicant’s preparation and achievement as a whole. We may accept applicants whose qualifications don’t meet the published entry criteria but have other experience relevant to the course.
