Course summary
This HNC Performing Arts programme is specifically designed for students aspiring to follow a career in acting. It is a strong foundation year in developing acting methods, performance techniques, independent discipline and professional practice; which aims to develop students into well-rounded actors. The course offers a number of professional development core modules with acting specialisms such as Classical Text, Audition Technique, Acting to Camera, Voice and Movement. For every 10 credits, students should engage with around 100 notional hours of learning. This will be approximately 30% direct learning contact and 70% independent student learning.
