Skills You'll gain a basic understanding of using English for academic purposes and a thorough grounding in academic study skills, such as essay structure, exam technique, referencing, journal and library research. You'll be introduced to key concepts in human physiology and explore the basic aspect of research in Biological Sciences through methods of strategic thinking, techniques and experimental design in an enquiry-based way. Career opportunities Our Health and Life Sciences Foundation Studies: Certificate of Higher Education will give you the subject-specific skills and confidence you need for a profession in health and life sciences or to prepare you for studying your undergraduate degree with us.
