This accounting and finance course is about much more than just theory. You will be exposed to live and simulated trading in our state-of-the-art Financial Trading Suite – one of the biggest among all universities in the UK and the first to be powered by Infront Professional Terminal – giving you the chance to develop and demonstrate your practical skills alongside the knowledge you will gain. You will also have the chance to take on a paid 12-month work placement, gaining extensive real-world experience to give you the edge when you graduate. Working in collaboration with professional bodies such as ACCA and CIMA, our Finance and Accounting course is designed to ensure you become a highly skilled graduate and can apply for exemptions from a range of professional exams in order to become a part or fully certified accountant. Additional fee information
UK:
If you are a UK student enrolling on a Foundation Degree or a BA/BSc at University College Birmingham in 2021/22, your fee for this academic year will be £9,250. A half year tuition fee is £4625.
This is a yearly fee, and will increase with inflation in subsequent years (in line with the government’s permitted rise).
If you are an English student studying your first higher education qualification, you can apply for a tuition fee loan from the Student Loans Company. You will not start repaying this loan until you leave the course and are earning over £25,000 a year.
If you live in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, you should apply to Student Finance Wales, Student Finance Northern Ireland, or SAAS. The loans and grants available to you will differ from those available from Student Finance England.
