Course summary

Immerse yourself in the business-side of performance sport at an institution that's won over 30 major sports titles and produced over 200 international athletes. You’ll benefit from our partnerships with local and national sports clubs and businesses. Gloucester Rugby is based on site and we have our own Championship rugby team. The foundation year option will give you the subject-specific knowledge and skills needed to progress on to the BA (Hons) degree. You'll develop your skills in business, finance, HR, event management, sponsorship, branding, marketing and more. A work placement in your second year, alongside an optional sandwich year, will prepare you for your career. You could also complete your Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification, widely recognised by employers across the world. Recent graduate destinations have included business, events and marketing roles with Pitch International, Inside Rugby, Sweetspot Group, Gullivers Sports Travel and Sahara Force India Formula One Team.

Our modules are developed regularly to reflect student and industry demands, ensuring you’re well prepared to enter skilled employment on graduation. The majority of courses are comprised of both compulsory and optional modules, the latter of which you'll be able to choose from to suit your interests and career goals.
