This course aims to provide students with the skills and knowledge required to gain employment and develop professionally in computing. You will have the opportunity to develop as an independent learner and self-motivated professional on a focused and highly practical study programme, developed by Chesterfield College in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University, software and networking employers and entrepreneurs. Successful completion of the BSc (Hons) Computing with Networks/Software Development can lead to a wide range of roles including: Web designer; Web app developer; Games developer; IT project manager; Network designer/engineer; Digital media producer/designer; Helpdesk support; IT consultant; Software developer. A range of related masters degrees are available, many of which can be studied at Sheffield Hallam University.
