The construction industry is one of the most dynamic, diverse and significant in the world. We live, work and play in the built environment, and our Construction Management HTQ course will develop your skills, knowledge and understanding of the technology and management involved in its creation and allow you to excel. Prepare for a successful career in Construction. This new qualification emphasises the practical skills demanded by employers. You will strengthen your knowledge in a range of areas such as Health and Safety, Construction Technology, Project and Construction Management and Principles. You will gain the specialist technical knowledge and skills to enable you to explore a variety of roles within the construction industry which may include architectural technology, construction management, quantity surveying and facility management. Whilst refining your specialist knowledge and skills in construction, you will also gain highly sought-after transferable skills to complement your technical and practical skills such as managing budgets, communication, problem solving and working as part of a team.

Fully Funded Tuition Fees for those either residing or employed in the construction sector within Folkestone and Hythe. 6 fully-funded spaces are available on our HTQ in Construction Management course for both Folkestone and Hythe residents and those employed within the construction sector in Folkestone and Hythe. Places are funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis, subject to eligibility. To be eligible, you must be either a resident within Folkestone and Hythe District Council local authority area or work for a construction company registered in Folkestone and Hythe and be supported by your employer to complete the qualification. In addition, you must meet the full entry requirements of the course. Evidence of this eligibility criteria will be required to secure the funded place.
