This course equips individuals with the scientific knowledge relevant to the health and fitness industry as well as the necessary professional qualifications and skills. It is principally aimed at individuals who wish to enter the health and fitness industry. To accommodate the principles and defining characteristics of a Foundation Degree, the programme is delivered through a modular mode of study blending traditional methods of teaching and learning with aspects of work-based learning to ensure that individuals can draw on the work-based responsibilities that they undertake in each academic year.
