Course summary

If you imagine yourself working in the creative industries, our film and broadcast production course is perfect for you. You’ll be the sort of person that’s obsessed with watching, listening to, making and analysing the media we’re exposed to every day. Get comfortable behind the camera, confident in the editing suite and chatty in front of the podcast mic. Producing digital content across a range of platforms, you’ll put your creativity to the test. At the same time, we’ll help you explore creative practice, looking at popular productions from the past and present. We think it’s important you shape your own studies. That’s why we give you a choice between theoretical and practical modules. For example, Short Films for Curious Minds gives you the chance to produce content for a final year solo project. Digital literacy, practical know-how and transferable skills like critical thinking are key for your career. But, in the ever-changing world of film and broadcast production, you also need to stand out. That’s why we’ll focus on helping you find your unique voice. How will you make your mark?
