This business and management HND is delivered at South and City College over two years, full-time. You learn a broad range of business topics such as economics, finance and marketing, alongside specialist management modules. We encourage you to apply what you learn to real life scenarios, so you can use your knowledge practically when you leave. With a HND you can progress in your career or you can stay with us to get a business related degree. Our BA students have gone on to forge careers in fantastic companies such as the NHS and HSBC. This course gives you a clear understanding of fundamental business principles such as marketing, human resources and law, as well as more specialist areas like advertising, accounting and professional development. With dedicated tutor support, you’ll learn about the underlying principles and techniques used in management and develop an understanding of contemporary issues in the business world. In addition to the core modules, students on this programme follow the management pathway of the Business and Management programme. You will also study four general business modules. You will be taught by staff that have a wealth of knowledge in their specialist area, which means you get to be taught by experts in the field. As well as dedicated learning hubs and a wealth of facilities at South and City College, you’ll also have access to support and facilities at the University. This includes support services and career advice.
