Course summary

Radiographers maintain a crucial role in frontline healthcare where rapid injury or disease diagnosis puts the patient at the heart of care. Radiography reflects the modern 24/7 nature of health and we give you the best possible clinical education to support this. The role of a diagnostic radiographer involves interacting with patients and making them feel relaxed and involved with their health decisions, while conducting complex technical clinical procedures. Our course ensures you become a proactive, competent, confident and responsible practitioner with the vital skills needed to enter this exciting and rewarding career. We have developed modules in preliminary clinical evaluation in each year, key to underpin advanced practice on qualification. When you graduate, you’ll be eligible to register as a diagnostic radiographer with the HCPC.

Sponsorship information

Recognising the vital importance of NHS recruitment, the government has decided to provide extra financial help in the form of a grant of at least £5,000 per year. Students studying Diagnostic Radiography course will also receive an additional £1,000 per year from the government. Additional funding will also be available for childcare. You do not have to pay this money back in future.
