Modules
Our MSc in Computing offers a wide range of modules across each year of the course, including many optional modules. Course modules include: • Semantic Web • Autonomous and Autonomic Intelligent Systems • Web and Network Services • Data Mining • Databases for Large Data-sets.
Assessment method
Students in the Computing MSc program will be taught through lectures on concepts, theories and methodologies. These lectures are usually followed by tutorial and/or practical sessions, allowing you to develop your skills in the areas being considered. A variety of assessment strategies to test your ability to apply knowledge and skills is used. Whenever possible, you will be given individual feedback (written and/or verbal) on your progress and your completed coursework prior to formal assessment.

Entry requirements
Entry requirements for this course are normally: * An Honours degree (2:2 or above) in business computing/IS/ICT-related subject or an equivalent professional qualification. * Other qualifications and/or experience that demonstrate appropriate knowledge and skills at an Honours degree level. * Substantial (3 years) relevant industry experience in a management role.
English language requirements
If your first language is not English, you will need to meet the minimum requirements of an English Language qualification. The minimum for IELTS is 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent will be considered acceptable.

The part-time tuition fee for UK postgraduate students on this course will be £660 (Band 2) per 15 credit module.
