Course summary

If you’re looking to set up your own business, this extended degree in business entrepreneurship and innovation is the place to start. This extended degree in business entrepreneurship and innovation starts with a foundation year to prepare you for degree-level study. After this, you'll study the same modules offered on our three-year course. You'll cover business processes, economics for business, and innovation in competitive environments to help you kick-start a business. We also encourage business management undergraduates to enter our business-planning competition. It's a great experience and can include a financial investment prize if you win. Graduates with credible business ideas are also supported to develop their business. What you should know about this course

  • This four-year degree is identical to the three-year course but has a foundation year with lower entry requirements.
  • The course will develop your entrepreneurial skills and understanding of corporate entrepreneurship.

Entry requirements

Qualification requirements

Applicants will normally apply with the equivalent of 64 UCAS points, plus GCSE English (language or literature) and mathematics at grade C / 4 or above. This might include: * A‐levels with grades DDE (or above) in relevant subjects * 64 UCAS points, including points from at least two AS-levels in relevant subjects * Three/four AS‐levels with at least three C grades (or above) in relevant subjects International Baccalaureate (Certificate or Diploma) with 20 points or more from at least three relevant subjects * Other qualifications, which will be considered on application.
