Course summary
The BSc (Hons) Animal Management (Science and Welfare) (Top-up) gives you the opportunity to study modules in Rehabilitation, Education in the Animal Management Industry, and Management of Animal Collections, which have become increasingly important within the Animal Management profession. This course increases opportunities for graduates who are hoping to secure employment within these areas of the industry. Our Lecturers are qualified to degree level or above in at least one Animal related area. Each has also gained contemporary industry experience from owning their own canine physio/hydro rehabilitation business, freelance equine coaching and mentoring FdSc student veterinary nurses. In addition to the teaching team, there is a wide range of support staff across the campus who can support you to gain the most from your time on the campus. Specialist skills training, equipment operation and information services are just some areas of support available on campus.

Modules include: Management of Animal Collections; Veterinary Microbiology; Professional Industry Project; Development of Academic Delivery Skills; Research Project.
