You will develop a broad understanding of business activity and focus on the influence of human resource management in contemporary organisations. You will also investigate and work with local employers to expand and apply your knowledge in a practical setting. Your knowledge and understanding provides a platform for you to develop your future career and academic plans, and you gain the opportunity to showcase your skills to potential employers. Successful students may choose to progress to the BA (Hons) Business, a one year top-up programme also delivered at the College, to gain a full honours degree award.

You will be assessed through coursework designed to demonstrate your ability to meet the learning outcomes of the programme. To support you, a variety of assessment methods are used to enhance your experience as well as to help you develop key transferable skills.
