Entry requirements
The PgDip is open to current Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registered first level nurses or midwives. Current NMC registration is part of the essential criteria for application and will be confirmed at interview, and as part of the onboarding process. • Applicants will hold a first degree (honours) recognised in the UK. • The University will consider applications on an individual basis if applicants hold an Ordinary degree in Nursing / Advanced Diploma in Nursing Studies. • Applicants will be required to demonstrate their capability to study at level seven through written application and interview. • Students will RPL their previous experience and study and submit an extended CV to support application to the programme. • Applicants must also hold three GCSEs or equivalents at grade 4 / C or above, in mathematics, English language or literature, and a science subject. • Evidence of recent study (within the last 10 years).
