Fine Art at Loughborough offers a vibrant, creative, and critical environment that explores the possibilities of contemporary fine art practice and theory. Through the medium of drawing, painting, sculpture and print, to photography, video and sound, digital media and interdisciplinary activities, students will develop an exciting and diverse body of work. A Fine Art degree references art history and visual culture, develops new critical connections between culture, society, politics and the environment, and provides students with professional, practical, intellectual, and transferable skills and employment opportunities. This studio-based course provides graduates with the confidence, experience and skills needed to become professional practitioners, or to pursue further postgraduate qualifications.
