Course summary
This MSc is for ambitious engineering graduates who wish to strengthen, lead and transform the high-growth global wind energy industry. This course offers engineering graduates the opportunity to study at one of Europe's largest and leading University power and energy technology groups - the Institute for Energy & Environment. Elective classes: Power Electronics, Machines and Application, Power System Design, Operation and Protection, Control Principles, High Voltage Technology and Electromagnetic Compatibility, Power Electronics for Energy and Drive Control, Power System Economics, Markets and Asset Management, Energy Economics, Inspection and Survey, Renewable Marine Energy Systems, Geographical Information Systems, Enironmental Impact Assessment.
How to apply
International applicants
This course has a subject classification which requires students whose nationality is outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland to have an ATAS certificate, irrespective of country of residence at the point of application.

Entry requirements
Normally a first or second-class Honours degree or international equivalent qualification in electronic, electrical or mechanical engineering or related discipline (physics, mechatronics, control or systems engineering) from a recognised academic institution.
