The University of Buckingham is:

  • Home of the two-year degree, the University of Buckingham, based in the South East of England, is ranked 6th for Student Satisfaction in the UK (National Student Survey, 2020).

BSc Business Management with Entrepreneurship will enable you to develop a thorough understanding of business by taking an entrepreneurial approach. You will learn everything you need to understand business. However, you will also be able to focus on the creative and innovative ways in which businesses can start and grow. In this degree programme you will have the opportunity of a work placement in a small business to understand how entrepreneurs achieve success. You will also be able to study alongside students who are running businesses as part of their degree in Business Enterprise. In addition to studying central business management modules, you will study the psychology of entrepreneurship, innovation and social enterprise. Your degree programme will finish with a project dissertation focused entirely on an aspect of entrepreneurship that you find fascinating. This degree will prepare you for work in any business, but particularly for small and entrepreneurial companies.

Qualification requirements

The typical A-level offer is normally BBB-BCC, IB:30-32, BTEC: DDM from relevant National Diploma or equivalent UCAS Tariff points, Applications to Buckingham are individually considered by the Admissions Tutor and other factors may be taken in to account. Applicants with BTEC qualifications are welcome to apply, including if you have a mix of BTEC and A levels. Where an applicant is taking the EPQ alongside A-levels, the EPQ will be taken into consideration and result in a slightly lower A-level grade offer. Foundation options are also available.
