UCEN Manchester has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.
The programme is designed to offer industry specific and creative units that develop artists for the future. The award will provide high quality vocational training and education for practitioners who can respond to the traditional and contemporary demands of the performance industry and its allied sectors. It will encourage graduates to develop a flexible approach to the processes by which performance is created, characterised by a committed and consistent professional work ethic that is able to adapt to different performance contexts. The course will foster in its graduates the ability to utilise critical and analytical skills in developing ideas and constructing arguments in order to produce their own work in terms of personal and professional development.
