Course summary
Spanish is the second most widely spoken language in the world and is an official language in more than 20 countries. Staff in Glasgow cover a wide range of topics and you will have the opportunity to work with native speakers from different parts of the Spanish-speaking world. Economics: in studying economics you will learn how individuals and society make choices about how scarce resources are used, what products are produced and who gets to consume them. These choices depend on evaluating costs, benefits, risks and effects on others. Economics at Glasgow dates back to Adam Smith, who was a Professor at the University in the 18th century and is widely renowned as the father of modern economics.

Qualification requirements
SQA applicants who achieve less than AAAAA by the end of S5 but achieved at least BBBB MAY receive a conditional offer, but a decision will not be made on these applications until April once all applications have been reviewed. Conditional offers to these applicants will require them to achieve AAAAA cumulatively by the end of S6.
