OVERVIEW In today’s increasingly competitive business environment, there is high demand for creativity, innovation and uniqueness, as well as a growing demand for firms to be enterprising. Our Enterprise Management postgraduate course has been developed in partnership with industry professionals to give you the business knowledge and experience you need to advance in management positions in the enterprise service sector. Studying this course will develop your business and management skills for identifying and responding to new business opportunities, working alongside local and national entrepreneurs on ‘live’ business activity and development projects to put your training into practice. You will also gain the skills to set up your own business and help it grow and develop strategically, with the option to formulate your own business plan for your final research project. Our Enterprise Management course is dual accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), a recognised professional management body, meaning you will be eligible for a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership from the CMI when you graduate (subject to payment of an additional fee). You will have the option to boost your industry experience on a six-month work placement and the chance to engage with entrepreneurs who will mentor you throughout your course, while you can gain additional skills studying in our Digital Creative Studio. FACILITIES Our business courses offer students opportunities to develop practical skills in our cutting-edge Financial Trading Suite. One of the largest among all UK universities and the first in the country to be powered by Infront Professional Terminal, the suite features 21 workstations, large wall screens and a scrolling ticker providing real-time global market information. You will also have the chance to develop new skills in our Digital Creative Studio, featuring state-of-the-art video and audio production facilities including a video production studio with 4K cameras and green screen technology, audio podcasting, vision mixing and editing facilities, as well as high-spec computers with Adobe Creative Cloud software and graphics tablets. If you want to set up your own business, our Enterprise Hive provides a wide range of start-up support, including incubation space, tailored mentoring from industry experts and networking opportunities. Students on our postgraduate courses also have exclusive access to our dedicated postgraduate suite in McIntyre House, providing study and meeting spaces, PCs and other facilities. ACCREDITATIONS AND PARTNERSHIPS This course is dual-accredited by the Chartered Management Institute. PLACEMENTS Our course features the option of a six-month placement in addition to your taught modules. You will also be expected to engage with independent reading and research to ensure an interactive and personalised learning experience. You will be assessed by a range of methods to encourage the development of a full portfolio of entrepreneurial and management skills and competencies. These include case studies, presentations, online debates, assessed seminars, executive reports, business start-up and development plans, and business pitching. Our teaching and assessment is underpinned by our Teaching, Learning and Assessment Strategy 2021-2024.

Entry requirements

**Entry requirements** - Masters Entry Requirements - A good UK honours degree (minimum 2:2), or international equivalent, in any/relevant subject. - We will also consider your application if you have significant, relevant experience (3-5 years) with degree-equivalent professional qualification. - English Language - IELTS Score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each component **Postgraduate Diploma Entry requirements** - A minimum of a third –class honours degree - An equivalent overseas degree from a recognised institution - We will also consider an equivalent professional qualification - English Language - IELTS Score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each component
