Our Computer Science degree provides you with a balance of knowledge and skills to design and implement software systems to the high professional standards demanded by industry. You will study object-oriented software design, learn systems development skills and how to apply them in practice. This will form the basis for a career as a professional software developer who can work effectively across a wide range of computing platforms. The programme aims to provide you with a balance of knowledge and skills to design and implement software, as well as hardware systems to a professional standard. Our Computer Science degree is specifically designed to create modern software developers who can draw on their knowledge and skills to create solutions to real world problems. Students will learn to develop software across desktop, mobile, web and embedded systems and gain skills in a variety of modern programming languages. Learn to adapt to the changes and challenges that working with cutting edge technology brings, as well as design and test secure software systems, all in our custom built teaching labs. The computing industry needs confident, creative graduates with a wide, adaptable skillset, and that’s what this degree provides.
