Course summary

Cambridge is renowned for the excellence of its Mathematics course. Equally challenging and rewarding, it offers the opportunity to study a wide range of subjects: everything from abstract logic problems to black holes. The course offers an optional fourth year leading to the MMath degree (progression to the fourth year is dependent on satisfactory performance).

Qualification requirements

In addition to the A Level/IB (or equivalent) requirement, the Sixth Term Examination Paper (STEP) is included as part of almost all conditional offers for Mathematics. Most Colleges don't encourage deferred entry. www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/courses/mathematics. Other qualifications at a level equivalent to A Levels and IB Higher Levels - including Scottish Advanced Highers, Welsh qualifications, the Irish Leaving Certificate, and a range of European and overseas qualifications - are also accepted.
