Course summary

Our part time MSc Financial Services Management has been created for those who wish to commence or develop their career in the Financial Services sector. The course aims to provide you with the skills and attributes needed to become a fully rounded financial services sector professional. It will help to prepare you to work in a wide variety of roles in areas such as marketing, project management, finance, risk, compliance and transformation/change. You will develop knowledge and understanding of models, techniques, theories and advanced trending practices pertinent to the financial services sector and the skills to critically evaluate and apply them in the workplace to create value. Whilst placements are not a feature of this programme, employability is. We aim to ensure that our students develop a wide range of knowledge and skills that will enable them to take on a variety of roles within the financial services sector. The course has been developed in consultation with a range of employers in the South Wales region. This ensures that the skillset you will develop is relevant and in demand, making you a desirable candidate in the jobs market. The completion of the research project provides an opportunity to showcase your knowledge and analytical skills that are key to success in today’s rapidly changing workplace.
