Course summary

LCCA’s master’s in fashion management course has been designed to provide students with the strategic management skills and knowledge needed to excel in today’s fashion industry. The course allows you to hone your creative skills and understand fashion business management within a global context. Working closely with fashion industry professionals, this course will provide you with a solid understanding of industry marketing strategies and business management skills to prepare you for senior roles within the fast-paced fashion world. This course builds on the knowledge learnt during undergraduate business courses at LCCA and provides a learning environment where you are encouraged to think creatively and learn strategic skills in fashion business, management and marketing. This master’s in fashion management course is aimed at those seeking the knowledge and skills needed to work in senior roles within fashion business management, retail management and fashion branding fashion business ventures. Students will be taught through a range of teaching methods, including lectures, seminars, tutorials and workshops, as well as undertaking a formative and summative assessment including reflective personal blogs and journals. Throughout the course, you will gain a deeper understanding of the finance world through independent research which will be used for your final major project. Students will have access to ample workshop spaces and studios for their research and group work. You’ll also benefit from industry-relevant lectures and workshops to gain expert knowledge of fashion business management. Students will gain a fundamental understanding of fashion business management, learning through a combination of lectures, seminars, tutorials and workshops. You will be actively encouraged to undertake independent research as you learn how to articulate your understanding of the fashion industry through producing a major product that is unique to your creative ideas. There will also be opportunities for further self-reflection during formative and summative assessments such as personal blogs and journals.
