Course summary

The MA Digital Media: Production route combines cultural and media theories and creative practices in digital media production, allowing students to critically engage with key debates and develop specific techniques in digital media production. Different from degrees focused on technical mastery or marketing/advertising, this programme is designed to support students to become reflective, critical practitioners, capable of developing creative modes of enquiry in order to leverage a rapidly changing digital landscape towards producing socially relevant and compelling works. Modular (flexible) students - Some postgraduate taught and MRes programmes are available on a modular basis. Modular study lasts between 2 and 5 years. This is different to a part-time study which lasts for a fixed period.
