Course summary
Delivered at our Trowbridge campus, you will learn a range of practical and technical skills essential to working in the Games industry, from 3D modelling to animation alongside concept development and working with engines. The fundamentals of conceptualising visual ideas for games will be extended to include advanced 3D modelling, digital sculpting, texturing, observational drawing and character design. You will also learn how to art direct your work as you apply the fundamentals of Art and Design theory to your coursework and skill development. Developing your own artistic workflow in the creation of your career portfolio is highly encouraged and supported during your study.

Assessment method
There is continual assessment across the course including written reports, presentations, workshops and a final research project. During your time on the course, you will be directed to carry out additional reading and other appropriate tasks alongside your time in the classroom and you should expect to spend additional time on your studies. An overall interest in the Games Industry and wider computing and animation fields will assist you in the content and assessments on this course.
