Why Business and Digital Marketing Management? Digital, mobile and social media are changing the world. This course gives you the chance to be at the forefront of these exciting developments, providing you with digital marketing expertise alongside business management skills. You could find out how social media can be used as a marketing platform by businesses worldwide and be involved in designing digital marketing campaigns. You’ll also gain a range of business management skills, from managing people to understanding responsible business practices and business transformation. How will you learn? You will learn through practical application and delivered lectures, workshops, seminars and group work sessions.
- The course begins with a focused introduction to the core principles of business and marketing. We’ll look at organisational management, what drives the consumer, and how to market to them. And we’ll take a wider view to see how digital developments are driving change across business and marketing.
- Modules taken on this course focus on developing critical understanding of the role and management of digital technologies in contemporary business and marketing settings.
- In your third year we’ll give you the opportunity to take a placement year that could see you working in a business and gaining real world experience. This is an opportunity to develop and demonstrate your skills in a range of organisations.
