Course summary
Students on the programme will consider the challenges faced by those setting up and running a Community Sports Organisation. Running a community sport organisation requires many focuses, including business management and finance experience, safeguarding, governance and a high level of organisational skills. Our programme will consider the role and objectives of sports organisations in the community, develop a plan for progression, increased participation and financial planning to include sustainable funding sources. Our students are part of a community of students and staff where small group problem based learning enables them to gain the skills required to creatively solve the problems of the future. We hope that our graduates will be a part of shaping the sustainable future of community sports organisations.
