You’ll study a range of modules that draw from physiology, psychology and biomechanics. This gives you an in depth understanding of the human body. You can shape the modules to focus on either Health and Fitness or Performance. We support you with building your industry experience at university. Our rich industry connections will allow you to work with professional athletes at some of the country’s leading sports teams. Then, in your final year, you’ll tackle a research project. This gives you a deep dive into an area of sport and exercise science that interests you most. This prepares you for work in the industry or for further study.

Assessment method
Learning And Assessment You’ll learn through a mixture of lectures, seminars, tutorials, practical sessions and independent study. Extensive resources are available to support your studies, from well-equipped classrooms to our own virtual learning environment, Blackboard. A variety of assessment methods are used, including coursework, case studies, presentations, examinations and reflective portfolios.
