Focusing on current research and practice, this course covers psychological theories and processes within the criminal justice system and will give you an in-depth understanding of the UK criminal investigation process. Foundation year: We have a foundation year option for students who do not meet the entry requirements for the degree course. This additional year of study will give you a grounding in the scientific skills required for this course, building your confidence, knowledge and skills for further study. After successful completion of the foundation year, you will progress to the full degree.

During the foundation year, you will study the following units: Applied Sciences, Academic and Professional Study Skills, Introduction to Biology, Introduction to Psychology, Mathematics in Science and a Foundation Year Project.
