Course summary

This clinically based course addresses the fundamental principles underlying cardiac disease, discuss common presentations of cardiac disease and thoroughly review current diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. Delegates will have the opportunity to become fully informed about commonly utilised diagnostic procedures via practical ECG interpretation, film reading and hands on echocardiography. Wherever possible, modules will include an interactive, practical element. The course is delivered by Improve International and assessed by the International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies (ISVPS).


Entry requirements

This course is for veterinary surgeons with a keen interest in further developing their knowledge and skills in the cardiology of small animals. Applicants whose 1st language is not English should have an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with no lower than 5.5 in any component.
