"Your first year of study is made up of compulsory modules covering a range of themes. Compulsory modules are studied by all students on the programme, meaning you are automatically enrolled. Examples of compulsory modules include: • The History of Social Policy • Law, Criminal Justice and Human Rights • Criminology, Crime and Society In your second and third year you will study a mixture of compulsory and optional modules, from a wide range of subject areas. Examples of optional modules in recent years have included: • Applied Offender Rehabilitation • Leadership and Management in Social Justice • Social and Environmental Harms • An Introduction to Policing in England and Wales • Social Movements, Social Policy and Social Change Your final year will include an optional independent dissertation project. Qualification requirements

All applications are considered on an individual basis, with GCSE grades, AS Level subjects and grades, work experience, references and personal statement taken into account. Variable offers are made dependent on subjects studied.
