This course will provide you with knowledge and understanding of the roles within the social and community work sector, recognising the importance of collaboration at all levels. It will build on your existing knowledge and experience of culturally diverse organisations, cross-cultural issues, diversity and values whilst developing and expanding your skills and practice. You will gain a wide range of sector knowledge tied to practical skills gained in evidence-based practice, personal research, self-study, directed study and mandatory workplace learning and experience. This course can be followed by a HND in Social and Community Work.
During the HNC, you will cover the following topics: • Law, Policy and Ethical Practice in Health and Social Care • Demonstrating Professional Principles and Values in Health and Social Care Practice • Supporting the Individual Journey through Integrated Health and Social Care • Fundamentals of Evidence-based Practice(Pearson-set Project)
